EXPERT RECREATIONAL TURF DESIGN
Putting Greens, Golf Areas & Game Spaces
We design and install custom recreational turf spaces around your property and how the area will be used. A great turf installation starts below the surface, which is why Knob Hill focuses on the preparation and construction details that help each space perform well over time. Proper grading, drainage, and base preparation create a strong foundation. Because turf is often just one part of the larger backyard space, we also consider how it connects with patios, planting beds, walkways, and other landscape features. It all comes together as a finished space that feels cohesive with the entirety of your property.

BRINGING COMMERCIAL OUTDOOR SPACES TO LIFE
Commercial Recreational Landscape Projects
Recreational spaces are not limited to the backyard. Our team works with commercial properties to create outdoor environments that bring people together, support entertainment, and add lasting value to the property.
CONFLUENCE TOWERS:
Our work at Confluence Towers in Hartford, Illinois spanned more than 4.5 acres of an eight-acre property. Over six months, our crews installed more than 1,500 plants, shrubs, perennials, and ornamental grasses, 93 new trees, 40 tons of boulders, gravel paths, mulch trenches, and other landscape elements throughout the site. The scale and coordination behind Confluence Towers demonstrate the experience our team brings to complex commercial landscape installations.
LEGENDS ENTERTAINMENT SPACE:
At Legends, Knob Hill helped shape an outdoor entertainment space built to give guests more ways to enjoy the property. Recreational turf was integrated into the larger design to extend the sense of community beyond the walls of the venue. The space outside became an area people are drawn to use with the same sense of energy and interaction that makes the experience inside Legends so amazing.

The project shows how commercial recreational turf can become a meaningful communal area. Knob Hill approaches these projects with both function and atmosphere in mind, creating environments that are complement the character and purpose of the property.
