This time of year brings its own unique charm: crisp mornings, brighter days, and that small spark of excitement as we inch closer to Spring. It’s the perfect time to show a little love to the spaces that bring us together. At Knob Hill, we are channeling that energy into new projects, community events, and plenty of inspiration for the season ahead!

2026 Chamber Gala
The Knob Hill team had a wonderful time celebrating local businesses at the Springfield Chamber of Commerce Gala. Great food and even better company made this a night to remember.

Home Expo @ The Fairgrounds
A big thank-you to everyone who stopped by to see us at the Springfield Area Home Builders Association Home Expo this weekend. We loved connecting with you all and hope you left feeling excited for the outdoor projects ahead!

iLandscape Awards
On February 24th, the Knob Hill team will travel to Schaumburg, IL, where not one—but three of our projects will be recognized at the annual iLandscape Awards. It’s an honor to be acknowledged statewide, and we look forward to celebrating this achievement!
Spring’s Almost Here…
Pro: The snow has FINALLY melted.
Con: Now we can all see the leaves, weeds, and everything else winter tried to hide.
Don’t worry, Knob Hill has got you covered with our Maintenance program’s Spring Cleanup! Refreshed plant beds, tidy yards, and beautiful surfaces are just a call away.

The Art of The Garden
It’s remarkable to think that a simple backyard could hold such creative potential, yet for one of the most recognized artists of the 19th century, Claude Monet’s garden was the heart of his inspiration.
Breaking away from the structural formality of traditional French gardens, Monet preferred the vibrancy of wildflowers. He layered textures, colors, and movement throughout his landscape, mirroring the Impressionist techniques used on canvas. Over the years, his garden at Giverny evolved alongside his art, particularly as Monet drew inspiration from Japanese art and design. From this influence came his iconic water garden; home to waterlilies that would inspire some of his most beloved works.
For Monet, the garden and the art became inseparable, each feeding the other as he spent his days painting amongst the flowers he held so dear.
As landscapers, our mission is to help create that same sense of beauty and inspiration. Monet didn’t have Knob Hill Landscape Company to bring his vision to life—but you do! Let us help you design your own little slice of paradise, where you can spend time with family and feel connected to those around you.
The world could always use more Monets…and more beautiful gardens to show us what’s possible.
