Every day, our yards are getting just a little greener and a little more alive. Plant beds that were empty yesterday are suddenly bursting with growth. The crocus and tulips are putting on a show—and while the weeds are trying to join in, they’re not quite as welcome.
With Knob Hill Landscape Company, you’ll only ever have to admire the flowers.
April has already been a busy and exciting start to the season. From welcoming new team members to hosting a community open house and wrapping up major projects, there’s a lot happening. Here’s what’s new at Knob Hill.
Open House This Weekend!
We officially kicked off the season— thank you to everyone who brought a friend, enjoyed some great food, and spent the afternoon with our team!
Special thanks to Twyford BBQ for catering and Brandon Boston for the live music (Knob Hill's own!).
We hope to see you all next year!

Project Spotlight: Confluence Towers
A major undertaking in Hartford, IL is nearly complete! Since starting last fall, the Lewis & Clark Confluence Tower project has been completely transformed. Over the past few weeks alone, our team has installed more than 1,500 perennials, shrubs, and grasses, along with 100+ trees.
This project is nearing the finish line, and we can’t wait to share the final results with you.
We’re incredibly proud of the work our crews have accomplished and grateful for the opportunity to contribute to such a landmark project in our community.
Exciting News!
We are proud to welcome Designer Landscapes to the Knob Hill family. After more than 40 years of serving the community, we are honored to carry on their legacy while continuing to provide the high level of quality and customer service that both companies are known for.
During this transition, Knob Hill is committed to making the change as seamless as possible for Designer Landscapes’ customers. Existing relationships, dependable service, and clear communication will remain top priorities every step of the way.
While we are excited about the growth this brings, we are equally grateful for the trust Designer Landscapes has placed in us to support their loyal customers.
The Flowers of April

Daisies
Bright and cheerful, daisies are a classic sign of spring, symbolizing fresh starts and optimism while thriving in cool April weather.

Sweet Peas
Known for their soft pastel blooms and sweet fragrance, sweet peas are early spring favorites that add beauty and charm to fences and trellises. These colorful flowers are often associated with joy and gratitude.
