Knob Hill Landscape Company is proud to share an exciting milestone in our continued growth: the development of our new company headquarters, known as Knob Hill True-North.

Since opening our doors in 2011, Knob Hill has grown from a small local operation into an award-winning, nationally recognized landscape company serving Central Illinois. Over the years, that growth has been fueled by our commitment to craftsmanship, innovation, and delivering outdoor spaces that stand apart. As our services, team, and capabilities have expanded, so has the need for a facility that supports where we are headed next.

True-North represents that next chapter.

A Facility Built for the Future

The new headquarters will serve as Knob Hill’s primary operational center, allowing us to bring staff, equipment, materials, and planning under one roof. This expanded space will strengthen day-to-day operations while supporting continued growth across our design, build, and maintenance divisions.

The True-North property will feature:

  • Expanded capacity for our all-inclusive landscape maintenance and lawn care programs

  • Onsite storage for trees, plant material, boulders, natural stone, and hardscape inventory

  • Dedicated greenhouse space to grow our own plant material

  • Increased room for equipment, materials, and team operations

This investment allows our team to operate more efficiently while improving service delivery for our residential and commercial clients.

Supporting Growth Without Losing Focus

In 2025, Knob Hill marked another major milestone with the opening of Knob Hill West, our outdoor living showroom built to showcase craftsmanship, materials, and design inspiration. That location will continue operating as our dedicated client experience center.

True-North, meanwhile, will focus on strengthening the backbone of our company — creating the space needed to support expanded maintenance services, new lawn care offerings, and future innovations that allow us to serve our customers even better.

As part of this transition, all staff will move operations to the True-North facility, and the Camp Sangamo location will be listed for sale later this summer.

Looking Ahead

This project is about more than a new building. It’s about creating long-term stability for our team, increasing efficiency, and ensuring Knob Hill Landscape Company is positioned to grow responsibly while maintaining the quality and service our clients expect.

We are incredibly grateful to our customers, partners, and employees who have helped make this next step possible. True-North represents where we’re going — guided by experience, grounded in craftsmanship, and focused on the future.
