March Updates | The Luck of the Irish Comes to Knob Hill

At the end of February, Knob Hill traveled to Schaumburg, IL, where three of our projects were recognized at the iLandscape Awards—and the results are in! We were honored to take home two Silver Awards and one Merit Award, representing some of the best landscape projects across Illinois and Wisconsin. It’s truly an honor to be recognized alongside so many outstanding projects, and we look forward to many more achievements ahead.
Employee Spotlight
A member of the Knob Hill family since June 2020, Ryan Steinkamp made the transition this February from the field into his new role as Purchasing Specialist. His hands‑on experience gives him valuable insight into prioritizing processes that make projects run smoother for both our crews and our customers.
Outside of work, Ryan stays busy spending time with his family and tackling projects around his house—and even his car. One of his favorite Knob Hill memories is his first Christmas party, complete with live music, great food, and plenty of goofing off with the crew. As spring ramps up, the song that best represents his day‑to‑day work life? “Another One Bites the Dust.”
